DONNIE KEHR – Executive Director
Donnie Kehr
grew up in New York City. The son of musician, Harry Kehr and
ballerina, Dolores E. Kehr. Donnie found his voice as a
singer/songwriter and actor at a very young age. This classically
trained performer, made his Broadway debut at age twelve in
“LEGEND”, a play starring F. Murray Abraham. Other Broadway credits
followed such as “THE HUMAN COMEDY”, produced by the legendary
Joseph Papp. He created the role of Robert Bascomb in “THE MYSTERY
OF EDWIN DROOD” for the New York Shakespeare Festival. He was the
original pinball lad in “The Who’s TOMMY”, winner of five Tony
Awards and a Grammy Award for best theatrical recording, produced by
Sir George Martin. In 2003 he co-starred with Toni Braxton in Elton
John and Tim Rice’s, “AIDA” on Broadway. Donnie created the role of
Norm Waxman on Broadway in “Jersey Boys” and is currently in the
highly anticipated up-coming Broadway production of “Billy Elliot”.
Donnie is the Founder and
Executive Producer/Director of Rockers On Broadway the flagship
production of The PATH Fund, Inc., a foundation he created to o give
artists of all kinds an avenue to share their unique talents while
helping raise money for charities that benefit the arts and
entertainment communities that inspires their livelihood.
As a musician, along with his
brothers, Michael and Steven, Donnie co-founded the band “URGENT” on
EMI-MANHATTAN Records in the late 1980s. As a collaborative
songwriter and lead singer of the band, they reached the top 100 on
Billboard’s pop charts.
Donnie also released a 2005 solo
CD entitled "SHIFT". The singer/songwriter composed ten original
songs that feed the heart and rock the soul. His vocal style is
undeniable and his songs stay with you. Now available at CD Baby.com

CORI GARDNER – Director, Treasurer

Cori is a founding member of The PATH Fund, Inc a
foundation that was created to give artists of all
kinds an avenue to share their unique talents while
helping raise money for charities that benefit the
arts and entertainment communities and inspires
their livelihood. The PATH Fund’s big yearly event
Rockers On Broadway has raised and donated over
$45,000 in the past year.
Up until recently, Cori was the Managing Director
for Wingspan Arts, Inc and was primarily responsible
for the day-to-day business management of the
company. She ran the organization’s special events
and supervised all aspects of the growing business,
including planning for the future arts center and
producing season.
Prior to 2004, Cori was the House Manager for the
Ford Center of the Performing Arts. She also served
as the Senior Contracts Manager for SFX
Entertainment, working with the major touring
productions including Les Miserables, Beauty and the
Beast and Footloose. A fixture within the Broadway
community, Cori was the Assistant Stage Manager for
the Broadway hits Triumph of Love and the
Off-Broadway production of I Do! I Do! and No Way to
Treat a Lady. She was also the Assistant Stage
Manager for David Copperfield: Dreams and Nightmares
during the production’s tour of The United States
and Asia.
Lastly, Cori was a managing partner in RIOT
Entertainment, a New York City-based production
company. Their inaugural production, the smash Off
Broadway hit Bat Boy: The Musical, won both the
Lucille Lortel and Outer Critics Circle Awards.
Other RIOT productions have included Rooms in the
2005 New York Musical Theatre Festival, Frank
Wildhorn and Friends in Concert and a workshop of
Dark of the Moon.
SANDY HICKS - Director
Sandy comes to
Rockers with a unique combination of
experience in marketing,
fundraising, and producing. She
began her career on Wall Street, as
a broker for Merrill Lynch and
eventually as a manager at EF
Hutton. Her work in financial
services continues today, as a
senior consultant for a major
insurance broker.
Her experience and talent for
fundraising has led to
board appointments for The Dwight
Englewood School, where she served
as Alumni President; Flat Rock Brook
Nature Center, Creative Theater for
Children, the Garden Club of
Englewood, Will Lee's AFMMA
foundation and now The Path Fund.
Her producing credits in theater
include Annie, You're A Good Man
Charlie Brown and Wishes, all staged
at Bergen PAC.
In nonprofits,
she's chaired large scale events such
as auctions, charity sales, and
festivals. In the world of rock
music, Sandy produces shows in New
York, New England and on the island
of Martha's Vineyard as part of her
work for singer songwriter Kate
Taylor. In
addition to promoting Rockers and
other charity events, Sandy's work
as a publicist includes the Carly
Simon Christmas Concert at
the Apollo,
the upcoming John Lennon photo book,
Instamatic Karma, and CDs
and live appearances by Livingston and
Kate Taylor.
KEVIN KUHN – Director
Originally From Philadelphia, Kevin
has been in NYC for 23 years and is currently guitarist for Disney's
The Lion King on Broadway. As a composer he has been on the
staff at Score Productions, Big Wave Music, and Shelly Palmer
Productions, which produced 3 seasons of music for “Spin City” with
Michael J. Fox. A brief list of additional credits include Audra
McDonald, The Who's "Tommy", The British Rock Symphony With Peter
Frampton, "Chess" by ABBA, Sarah Brightman, Rita Coolidge, Leanne
Rimes and Elton John, Quincy Jones, Ashford and Simpson, Liza
Minnelli, The Metropolitan Opera, The New York Philharmonic, The New
York City Ballet, The New York City Opera and The Philadelphia
Orchestra. Gangs of New York (film),”Birdy” ( Tri Star
Pictures)” Prime” (film)” The Nanny Diaries” (film) The Other Side
of Time" (Mary Fahl-Sony Classical), and Chaka Khan's "ClassiKhan",
“The Producers”, ABC World News Tonight and Carter Burwell’s Theater
of The New Ear. This past summer Kevin was involved as Assistant
Music Director on the American Stage and Film workshop of Pete
Townshend’s newest work,” The Boy Who Heard Music”
JEORJIE ORNSTEIN- Director, Secretary
Jeorjie Ornstein is the VP of Event
Production for GroupM ESP (entertainment, sports and partnerships)
North America, where she heads up the event department. Together
with her team, they conceive, plan, manage and execute events that
fit with clients’ overall marketing strategy and brand
development. The department is praised for its excellent client
management and hospitality services and possesses a personal and
engaging style of client service which is unique to the industry.
Under her direction, the department has acquired an international
reputation for special ingenuity and originality. Every client is
treated as an equal, no matter their size, and the department
operates with the drive, passion and creativity of a boutique
agency. Jeorjie brings over 15 years of event experience to GroupM
ESP. Prior
to joining the company, she founded and ran Jeorjie Girl Productions
(JGP), an international event marketing firm recognized for its bold
and innovative approach to the event business.
Before establishing JGP, Jeorjie
created and ran the Special Events Department for a major public
relations firm, Dan Klores Communications.
She was closely involved in the
organization of hundreds of high profile, well-publicized events,
receptions and photo opportunities that resulted in enormous press
exposure at all levels of the media.
Jeorjie also specialized in VIP Hospitality for corporate sponsors
of worldwide events, including professional yachting events with
players such as Wedgwood and Faberge.
In
addition, Jeorjie was instrumental in the creation and launch of
AT&T’s “Long Distance Awards”, a scholarship program for college
sports (still in existence today).Her
client roster includes the Tribeca Film Festival, Continental Airlines,
W Hotels, Pfizer, and various celebrity talent. Jeorjie is a
graduate of the George Washington University in Washington, DC and
resides in midtown Manhattan.
RUSS TITELMAN – Director
He has to date won three
Grammy
awards. He earned his first producing the
Steve Winwood
song "Higher
Love",
and his second and third for
Eric Clapton's
Unplugged
album. Beginning his career in the 1960s, he has worked with notable
musicians such as
The Monkees,
George Harrison,
the Bee Gees,
Little Feat,
Meat Loaf,
Paul Simon,
Brian Wilson,
the
Allman Brothers Band,
James Taylor,
Rickie Lee Jones,
Chaka Khan,
Ry Cooder,
Randy Newman,
Gordon Lightfoot
and
Gerry Goffin.
After having worked for
Warner Bros. Records
for 20 years, Russ has been an independent producer since 1997.
Recently Russ Titelman started his
independent
music label
Walking Liberty Records
of
New York City.
One of his first productions for the label was the debut album by
Oklahoma singer-songwriter
Jared Tyler.
Scheduled for release in 2007,
Blue Alleluia
includes guest appearances from
Emmylou Harris,
Mac McAnally
and
Mary Kay Place,
and features Jared Tyler's multi-instrumental playing on eleven
original songs.
